Cruiser .
Does anyone know of an internet trip planner that allows you to enter a starting point and specify a radius do you can figure out a comfortable days travel
I was thinking this sort of thing could be useful for trip planning. If I was in say Albury and only wanted to travel 350K for the day, I would be able to see what towns etc are within that radius and start looking for a caravan park, or
campsite etc.
Cheers,
Cruiser

Hi Cruiser, Google Earth allows you to do that by clicking on the "Ruler" button, then clicking on as you mentioned "Albury" and stretching out to the desired distance in any direction, just select the type of reading you want...eg: Kms,
Miles, Metres, Yards etc.

John

Crusier,
Great idea - I will add a proximity ring system to the
Places database system - it is easy for me to put up a circle radius around a point and our new
Camps & Accomodation search database with over 5300 camps and caravan park listings will be able to make use of this proximity system.
