Update on 2011 Silverton Gathering

I have been in contact with the caretakers at
Penrose Park regarding the bookings for the Gathering.
Unfortunately there has been some staffing issues and some things have taken a time to be sorted.
As stated in the Trips/Gatherings information about the Gathering, there is limited powered sites available. This is due to the size of the power line supplying the
park.
Those of you who have to have power, please ring
Penrose Park on 08 8088 5307 to let them know.
There are no allocated site numbers like a normal Caravan
Park, it is a bush type
park and you setup wherever you want.
Those of you who are self sufficient with power with solar or gennies don't need to book as there is acres of space.
If you definitely need power ,take a decent length of power cable.
Because there are no marked out sites, it is hard to know how close you will be to the power outlet.
If you can be self sufficient with power, it would be best, a la Innaminka Gathering.

Things are starting to come together :)
We will probably go an unpowered site so we can choose a good site.

From memory there's a power point opposite the office and another point on the dunny wall further in. Not sure how many others.
