Hi all,

Thinking of picking up a new Cherokee KK model, Auto petrol. I'd love to hear any feedback from actual owners.

I'd be using it on the beach, Fraser DI etc. And would be most likely be doing a drive from Brisbane to Melbourne in the next year.

Ask them if they have fixed the window mechanism problem.
3 out of my 4 windows have dropped down inside the doors on my 2007 KJ so far in the 3 years & 5 months I've had it, the first one a week after delivery.
Out of warranty now & I have 2 still held up with lengths of wood inside the doors whilst they argue about an out of warranty claim on parts they replaced themselves.
Not much fun when you can't secure the vehicle or it rains & the windows are down inside the doors.
Friends in the states tell me it's not a new or isolated issue.
I won't be replacing it with another Jeep at the end of the 4 year lease.
Other than that the vehicle is a joy to drive & a great shame as it spoils a good vehicle.

Wifes 2.8 5speed auto diesel is a gem , fuel economy is brilliant on the black stuff and not too foul when slogging in the mud , 8.2 lt per hundred klm at 110 blacktop and 12.5 lt 100klm 4x4 dirt/mud on a road that took 5hrs to travel 126klm.
