Hi Keith
Your inverter is safe AS LONG AS IT & THE ENTIRE CIRCUIT [it is connected to] REMAINS ISOLATED.
IF a fault to earth develops ANYWHERE in that inverter or circuit ,IT IS NO LONGER ISOLATED
Isolated
inverters are relatively safe if only being used with double insulated devises, however it is recommended that ONLY ONE devise which requires an earth connection[3pin plug] be connected[PLUGGED IN]@ anytime.
The highest risk occurs if the inverter is plugged into the van inlet socket
The van RCD WILL NOT BE OPERABLE
SHOCKS & Deaths have occurred using isolated
inverters when the above fault has developed!!
You may wish to contact.

They have a devise [not sure if it is on the market yet] that does not require modifications to the inverter & give a very high level of safety in all circumstances
Usual disclaimer: I have no interests in the company finiancial or other wise but have a tecnicali nterest in the devise
