The choice is between Kimberley and Campomatic.
Any feedback most welcome. Also are the boat racks/trailers a boon or a nuisance?

The boat rack on the KK tilts over out of the way so you can put your tent part up without removing the boat off the rack.

KK is about the best getting around.

We hired both the KK and Campomatic for a weekend and then made our decision. Both are great units for what you want them for and are just about equal in quality etc. We ended up with a Campomatic because of the deal we were able to get. You won't be dissapointed with either.

Hamish, I don't know where you are but I have a 2001 KK for sale in Adelaide for $18500. It doesn't have a boat rack, but it is in excellent condition.

Happy trails, Mike.

Hi.
Did you checkout the Ultimate? I own one & consider it a much better buy than the alternatives ... certainly worth a look before you buy anything else.

I have just returned from a 3 mth trip through most of the roughest roads in Aust towing a Campermatic. Canning, Ann Beadel ,len Beadel ,Connie Sue 'Kidson Trk, Gunbarrel, Gibb river Rd, Kalumbaroo Rd and Tanami and not a problem with the trailer.
I opted for the Campermatic over the Kimberley due to the weight factor and Kimberley won't make any changes to there trailers where as Campermatic were only to helpful to make changes to the trailer that i required. I dont need a gauge to tell me how much water is in the tank or a gauge to tell me the amps left in a battery, by deleating small things you can save vast amounts of money on the overall price.
All the best
