Saw this on Today Tonight....tonight. A story about a family who bought a caravan they were less than happy with.
Click on the link then select "On road death trap" from the video selection list.

Aw I don't know "get outmore"....there's some pretty damning admissions by the caravan manufacturer who himself states that the bulider of the van is not qualified to do so. (truss maker).
I know what you mean about Today Tonight and their trend for sensationalisim, but after seeing this story I
A/ would be apprehensive about buying from this manufacturer and
B/ am a bit more street wise as to what to look for.
Fab.

I hate these shows with a passion. Neighbours from he'll,
parking tickets, speed cameras grocery/fuel prices blah blah. In saying that, I thought this story was tops and it was only chance that I saw it.
This was truely dodgy work and I hope this company suffers for it.

If you hate it why watch it, and that is why these shows are huge. Very few claim to watch or like them but most people enjoy the trashy content.

Like I said muffin man...... only by chance as I flicked through the channels and to my great surprise it had some merit. I was back to foxtel the second that story finished.

I just had a look at "On The Road Death Trap" and to be sure it is a shocker.
But on the same web site also have a look at "Australian Farms For Sale",
that is something worth reading as
well.
Maybe I am too old fashioned to understand why we would sell our country to overseas customers but I feel in the long run this type of thinking can only lead to disaster.
If it is a fact that 75% of our dairy farms are now foreign owned, as stated in the lecture will we be importing milk from overseas soon as reconstituted product.
I don't understand the logic behind freehold sales if that is what is happening.
Leasehold may be a different matter.
Have Fun Haji-Baba.
