I either lost or it was lost by the person to whom had done my service, one of the four clips that hold the air cleaner top down (2005 Patrol Y61 3l Diesel) went missing, no problem! went to my local Nissan Dealer yes we can do, but it will cost you about $220.00 you have to buy the whole air cleaner assembly? Looks like a home mod for sure or wreckers

I suppose the clips are different to my R51 Pathfinder diesel. I had one missing after a service by a Nissan dealer and they replaced it immediately (posted out to me). They said it is a frequent problem to lose the clips and they have a supply of the clips in stock because of this. Maybe check another dealer.

Hi guys,
It's not just Patrol Air cleaners.
A mate with a 2002 Cruiser Petrol, one of the clips was missing, asked Mr Toyota, "No we don't sell them, you'll have to buy the complete unit".
Can't remember what the cost was, Made one for him.

Did not have to go south, I had another look in the motor for the missing clip, with a touch-magnet gizmo (Bunnings) and notice a nice round hole in fender, so I poked around, pull the gizmo out and on the end was the missing clip, Yep Pee! also thanks for all your help and it fits better the right way round.

Well thanks for the info regarding the 2.8 Navara air cleaner clips that fit the "Patrol" Part No 1659853J0A at $4.85 each, a lot cheaper than the $220.00, another dealer rip off.
