Over the years i have had a exceptional run out of batteries with various vehicles, The one in the landy Is coming up ten yr old , On a day i was bored i decided to check things in that area (under the seat so out of site out of mind) and it was not a pretty sight, Total mess with acid and gunk, a blast with the hose and a terminal clean up and all is good. The best i ever had was in VJ valiant, The car went to the wreckers with the original battery in it!!! (1974- 1994) If only other things would behave as well!..Lol.

Cheers Axle.

I have a 99 hilux and still the original battery.
I have had bad batteries as well, only 2 - 3 years old and have packed it in.
