12 v solar lights need inline switch

Hi, I have purchased a set of 12v solar lights and want to put an inline switch in them. I got the switch from the 12v shop but want to know if the solar has a negative AND positive going from the light to the solar panel?? Cheers.

www.sidewinder.com.au who advertises on here will sell you some waterproof ones and will answer your question.

Most things have to have a + and a- to complete the circuit.
