Hi Guys
Hope your week has started off
well....mine has ...1st day off retirement
But to my question ...I see the the local auto
shop advertising the above, and I am wondering how would I connect such a unit in my A'Van. TV , Monitor ?????. I remember fitting the first cassette player in a car and thinking WOW, but it has left me a bit behind now ( technology )
Many thanks
Brian

Hi Brian,
Well done on the retirement!
I'm not sure if I have the right answer, but we have what's called a Media Monitor in our van which connects to our TV monitor using the red, white, and yellow cables (real technical talk hey!! :-). It has a USB port in it to which I connect an external hard drive which holds all of our photos which we can watch through the TV as
well as all of our DVDs so we don't have the need to take individual DVDs with us.
I don't use it for CDs or MP3s as I can connect our Ipod to our stereo in the van.
We purchased it from JB Hifi and I think it was around $50.
Hope this helps.

You got a link Brian? Most DVD units have a TV-out connection for your van TV, everything else just connects like the 8-track that you probably once connected in your VK Valiant, instructions these days are pretty good and if theyre not they are available on the net somewhere easily.

Thanks Bonz.......at least it is still wires lol :-))
no doubt I will have to go and look this thing over....not able to get away at present, but the idea of a unit no bigger than a car cd/radio appeals and TV's can be compact....
