trying to identify microwave brand in pic to save having to completely uninstall everything just to check the plate in back. Would appreciate any help at all if anyone might recognise. Trying to locate a manual for it is the ultimate aim.Image Could Not Be Found

Sorry Kevmac,
I cant identify the little zapper, but the picture suggests to me that there is very little air gap around it.
Not a particularly good idea, they need about 10-15 mm air gap on top and sides and around 50mm at the rear, according to the instalation book that came with mine for the house..

My van one (small) just sits on the bench for use and when travelling sits quite happily on the bed

Cheers

there appears to be sufficient air gap to the sides and is extremely well vented above at the rear.... just no gaps at front....... merely chasing manual to sort out a few of the functions........... basic cooking etc no prob

MOST microwave ovens I have seen have a label inside the door frame.
You may be lucky?

Sorry mate, I reckon you'll have to pull everything apart, why do you need to find the model no etc?

By the way, if you'd waited a minute the Model no would change to 1214.

Surely the hardest thing to do with a microwave, is to set the clock!

Press the "Clock" or "Time" button....key in the time on the number pad , eg: 7.45, then press the Time (or clock) button again should do it.

Cheers Neil

You've tried holding the clock button down for 10 secs? Or pressing it twice quickly, or holding it down while trying to type in the time?

The Scubadoo might be onto something here..? Turn the no-name bugger off and leave it turned off. Turn it on and see what time it defaults to.??? I have ignored my microwave clock for years and will continue to do so.
