I am looking at upgrading the
suspension on my 2006 Navara and just after some feedback/ideas. There seems to be a lot of different set ups out there and a wide range of prices. I'm after something that will improve the handling and ride. I'm not interested in a big lift kit just something to update the current
suspension that has done almost 100000kms and allow me to tow a camper trailer.
Is all the hype that surrounds brands like OME worth the price or are there other brands that are just as good. I am new to the whole 4WD scene and don't know really
where to start.

Before we went to
Cape York in 2009 I put an OME system on our 2007 D40 TD.
Modest lift (legal at 50mm) and the vehicle rode, handled and steered much better.
A front bash plate and some AT tyres made the ute that much more capable.

For what you want I would talk to my local ARB or TJM dealer, They will provide you with a good basic setup at a reasonable price.
Cheers Dave..

Hi Dan, sorry for late reply.
I had ride-pro
suspension fitted by the wanker at
Croydon brake and clutch /
croydon 4wd specialists. Within 3 months the rear springs were inverted, he said he would get onto ridepro to sort something out.. nothing happened... went back approx 6 months later same story... I ended up rectifing this myself by going elsewhere and fitting airbags. Front
suspension after fitting bullbar and winch (which they knew about) was no higher than standard D40. Now in the process of rectifing front
suspension before next trip. All I can do now is voice my opinion and let others make their own judgement.
