That is the Qld side of the Simpson Desert, we are waiting on the SA DENR to advise when the SA section of the Simpson Desert National Park will open.

I must have misread your site as I'm sure it said it was now open.

MM,

Nope, it says thet the SA Simpson Desert Park is still closed, we are still waiting on a response from DENR as to when they will open it.
The only reason we've got so far is that the roads into the park are still closed, the only way in at the moment is via Kulgera & Finke, from Finke to us the road is passable, with the worst sections just having been lightly graded.

It is unlikely that Eyre Creek in Queensland (not part of SA Simpson Desert Park) will be passable until June or even July.
