I own a Kedron caravan equipped with a VITRIFRIGO DP 2600 *CMC* 240 LT Fridge. I noticed that the fridge light stayed on and burned a hole into the plastic cover. After making some enquires with a large camping supplier in
Brisbane I was advised that I need to replace the circuit board , Light bulb and cover as the problem is very likely in the circuit board. The fridge light is apperantly controlled by a magnet on the fridge. I am not sure how this all works but I replaced the whole light assembly only to find that the light still stays on and nearly burned another hole into the new plastic cover. Have I spend over $70.00 For nothing and what could be the fault???

Maybe run it past the manufacturer ? I have queried them in the past on our 150L unit. They even replied ! (though their answer was of no use to me whatsoever - you might do better :-o) ......

Thanks Darian, I might just do that
I told the wife that I don't need a light in the fridge as I know where the beer is , but than I got one of those looks. So I bought the Light assembly. Wish now I have bought 2 cartons instead.

Hi Tony,
I purchased the whole light assembly complett including circuit board, cover and Bulb so I think the bulb should be the right one. I just can not see any button or similar on the fridge which activates the light. According to Camec in
Brisbane where I purchased the parts the light is activated by a magnet on the fridge but I am nor sure on this.
