G'Day Rambler.
When I worked for Toyota, we were fitting Piranah alarms through our aftersales department. Not sure if they are still available.
Had very little complaints or come backs.
I'd suggest asking your insurer who they use or recommend. After all, if it goes pear shaped and you need to make a claim, they're the guys who are gonna assess your claim.
Fab.

It's not going to stop a scum smashing a window and helping themselves to what they can get their dirty hands on....but I guess the aim is to stop them driving away with the car so a good immobiliser and fuel cut off device.
I had a expensive alarm in my old Hilux and after some troubles in a 4x4 park the RACQ man bypassed the alarm in a matter of seconds and started the car!
