Hi,

I recently read a blog by a lady who had planned and executed (pardon the pun!) her own budget wedding on Hamilton Island. Can anyone refer me to this link or has anyone done anything similar that could share some info? We just want a simple ceremony on the beach with a photographer and a celebrant? we plan on eloping as we are trying to buy a house.

Hey grissy,

Whilst we didn't get married on Hamilton island, we did have our honey moon there.
I'd suggest you call the reefview resort information. The entire island (more or less) and all the business's are owned by Bob Oatley, so everyone works in conjunction with each other. We found all the staff at every venue extremely happy and helpful.

Anything on Hamilton Island owned by Hamilton Island will cost lots more than you can do otherwise.

No association with this business but they are friends of ours.
