Agree, the Navara is a hard act to top.

I've had two Rodeos in the past. Both 4X4 3.5L V6 petrol LT Crewcabs. And although they were tough as guts and did everything I expected them to do, they were a bit boring....I guess.

The styling was conservative, and creature comforts were a bit lacking for what was essentially their top of the range model.

I'll be looking at this new one for sure. Providing the General doesn't "Nanny" it down, it looks like a pretty attractive beast.

Missus has a Captiva at the moment, and the Colorado front styling is almost exactly the same. Something I quite like.

Thank goodness they didn't resort to ugly styling cues around the rear or the cab like Triton. Top unit the Triton, but hell they look ugly with a tray on rather than a pick up box.

Fab.

The Navara ST-X 550 starting price of $60990 is real hard to beat

"Its going to take some beating (Navara)."
The Colorado has already beaten it on looks to start with & will no doubt do so on price as well.
Cheers Craig...

"Exactly how many of these features will make it to the production model is still to be finalised, according to General Motors global vehicle line executive, Brad Merkel"

Understatement of the decade......... I'll take mine without the piped leather, dual zone a.c., 20" wheels etc etc. Our company won't be buying any Holdens anymore though, and all over a cheap warranty issue.

Certainly a visually appealing thing.

I wouldn't think anything much from the current nissan stable would take much beating. If the latest navara shares any D40 DNA, it'll get found out quick enough. Time will tell.

I believe the 2.8 CRD motor will come from VWM (Italy) same as the Jeep Wrangler.

I like it, though the interior is not what I'm in to..

But hey, I also like the 2.5 diesel Navara as well.. (but the go really, really well).

Shame I can't afford ANY of them, hahaha.
