River Swaggie

Could you please, I will try it out, if it don't work out, then nothing ventured, nothing lost, but if it does, then it will be good.

Like I said, it's only for plotting on the Computer. It tells me that the file is corrupt, and cannot copy it onto my hard drive.

Try VantagePointinstead of Mapsend Lite..that may work.

As Boobook correctly points out copying from one SD card to another will not work as the maps are locked to one particular card. Only option if you cant get it to work would be to get a replacement from Next Destination

Greg

Cheers for the link to Vantage Point !

Has a lot more potential than mapsend, and all it's shortcomings

There must be a problem with the DS card, as VO starts to load the Vic map, and then it too schytes itself..
Funny thing is, as I think I said before, the VIC side of the GPS sems to work fine ( so far, never let me down )

May have to open the wallet, and shake out a few moths..

Hi

Yes that is a bit strange. I do not know what Magellans policy is on faultly SD cards. I would have thought that as you already own a copy of the maps that they would exchange the faulty SD card at a reduced price (i.e. cost of the sd card itself). Maybe give Next Destination a ring and ask them.

Cheers
