If you go to this website

OziSpeed2

and take a look at Ozispeed2 - it might be what you are looking for - dont forget to d/l the Oziapi.dll file that it refers to - it wont work without it

cheers

Hi
I think Rob is talking about track replay ...on the PC at home, but his post is a bit ambiguous. Thanks for the link none the less - handy add on for those who use PC version of OziExplorer in their car. OziCe version has the option for similar speed display.

Cheers
Greg

You don't NEED OziSpeed2 but it does give a large (up to full screen) display. If you press "Ctrl M" (moving map control) then your speed, heading, altitude etc is displayed o the screen.

I guess the post was not clear enough thanks for the reply,
but what i need is to view the speed at a certain point of the track
if i save a track from ozi as a .plt file and open in google earth, i can see only the route and timings of the trip but i still need to add the speed at each minute if possible, i searched a lot for some tools but could not find any

i appreciate any help

kind regards

Rob

Press "Ctrl T" and it will show the track on screen. You can save the track to a file at any time.

Rob Hi again

Is there a reason you have to use Google Earth and not OziExplorer with Google Earth loaded?

That way you can load the track file and either look at the track list to see speed (etc) at any one point or run the track replay to get the same imformation as the track replays- - see below (some of my speeds are obviously a bit out:)

Hi
They can be opened using the same menu you use to open the Track Profile i.e. VIEW->TRACKS->TRACK REPLAY
and
VIEW->TRACKS->TRACK CONTROL - - afte you have the track control open click on the 4th icon along the bottom row of icons to open the Track List.

Obviously you need a track loaded first.

To get Google Earth loaded in OziExplorer (if you havent already) make sure you have latest version and also download needed internet map files from Ozi websitehere.

Cheers
