Hi guys,

I just bought a second hand canopy for my dual cab rodeo and I was wondering how to remove the bars at the back of the cab window so I can install the canopy... has anyone done this before? Do I just use an angle grinder and cut them off or can they be removed from underneath?

If it wasn't the weekend i'd just call the appropriate local business but I am hanging out to get it on!

Thanks :)

Jess

Should be able to unbolt it just like the Colorado, 3 screws on the inside on each side and I think from memory 4 across the front.

Hi Yep out with the angle grinder carefull not to shower the vehicle in sparks.
After cutting coat the surface with paint or something so it does't rust

Thanks for that info, and far out you guys are quick on here!
I'll go out and have another look at it. If I need to go with the angle grinder, guess i'll have to be really careful! Dont want to mark my Rodney Rodeo.
Thanks again.

PS its a 2002 Rodeo dual cab.

They should just be torx head screws. Belt them with a hammer to break the paint line then back them out with an impact driver.
