Thinking of heading south (to Northern NSW) for the Easter break (just me and the missus)... we are looking for a dog friendly park to bring little Rover along with us. Does anyone living in Northern NSW have any suggestions?

Hi Mark.
Does Mann River CP allow dogs?
Cheers.

Thanks for the invite Mark G. Would like to stay off Pacific Hwy, and a little bit too far south this time. Might take you up on the offer at a later date.

In our recent experience touring around the region (apart from National Parks of course) most CPs and campgrounds in northern NSW take dogs once you get a bit away from the coast. Where do you want to go? Do you want a CP with all facilities or do you want to go bush? We stayed at Mann River CP two weeks ago. A great spot but likely to be standing room only at Easter.
The rivers are looking wonderful after all the rain and the country is really lush.

Hi Phil, Mark from Ballina, good luck, coast gets chockers at Easter. We're going bush to Rover Park, east of Tenterfield, big property for camping & 4wd, etc, etc etc. They allow well behaved dogs on leash... we're taking taking ours.

Hi MarkSom, thanks for the suggestion about 'Rover Park'. We would rather stay away from the coast and the Pacific Highway if we could. If they only allow well behaved dogs, maybe we shouldn't take Russell (our dog), as in Jack Russell. Maybe I should keep the missus on a leash as well! Ha, ha, ha!
