Would love to go Mark but
Ross has to play the pipes at the gathering and drink whiskey. If we don,t go
camping soon I will scream suffering deeply from no
camping

I love that place. Only been there once in June 2007. Was cold, uncrowded, but bloody awesome.
Camp fires, Roasts, takin the 4by for a drive. Awesome place. Must go back soon. Just need to convince this wife to go back in winter, for some reason that place has areal winter vibe for me.

Hi Eli J,
Yeah, Good mates visited there in winter a couple of years ago and loved it. They are the ones that planted the seed for us to head that way at
Easter. Had a ball last year at
Easter and could imagine what it would be like in the middle of winter.
This year we are planning to have games for all the kids, And for big kids. Along the lines of the Minute To Win It games.
Just for a laugh.

Hey Jon,
Sounds like fun, there wouldnt be any alchohol involved in these games for the adults would there. You could have just created a great spin off of the original minute to win it.
I loved levuka in the winter, wife on the other hand feels the cold a little more than me. I think levuka in summer wouldnt be the same and i would imagine the place would be swarming with flies in summer with all the cattle roaming around.
It would be getting nippy down there by
easter wouldnt it?

Eli J,
Maybe a couple of nips,
I agree, Summer wouldn't be the best time to
camp there.
Last year we found the nights very pleasant, Sure a little cool but not cold.
Perfect time of year really.
