HI!
Does anyone know if you can camp anywhere near fords bridge on the dowling track. We are considering travellingalong the track in July holidays. I am sure there would be someone on here that knows. Thanks in advance for the help. Anyone who has any other info it would be really appreciated.

If it's the Fords Bridge between Bourke and Hungerford then yes there is camping near the pub. But watch the water as it Warrego floods there regularly and there is still water coming down.

I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Cheers Dodg.

No fees at all except for the cost of a beer at the pub if open.

Aone time there were even free showers and toilets as well but after the floods ????????

I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

I think it's the same place, a pub has a Rabbit Trap on the wall , The story goes that when there's a mob at the pub they set the trap, place it on the rock out front , put money on the plate (trap plate) and with hands behind your back you have to get the money off with your mouth....do you get the picture..
