I was talking to someone called Karen and she has been caring for some injured birds. I thought that with the food focus that we have had lately, someone might have some good recipes that they can share with us all.

The classic galah recipe: Take 1 galah, 1 house brick, add to pot with 3lt water, simmer for 3 hours, discard galah and eat the brick!

Yeh - animals are obviously not too clever if they can't work out how to store the number their phones memory..... have to be reminded all the time.
Now I thought a guy like you - a builder, a traveller, a goumet chef catering for intrepid travellers, a fountain of knowledge (secret) about what beaches to drive on in the Cape - you must have a good Galah recipe.... lol

.....I am having an image of you now..... something must be wrong with my brain or I need to "up" my medication......but I am seeing you prancing around to the Johnny English song like at the start of the movie (the one sung by Robbie Williams). Is this image something that you are comfortable with?

(btw I am sitting at work with nothing to do on a Sunday so wasting time is a good option...)

Andrew,
Billy (the magpie) dropped dead on me yesterday, so I will send him down in the mail and try him in magpie soup. I can't fly him down now!!!!!!!!!(wonder why).
I should have been a bit quicker and you could have had him for your BBQ you had at your place last night, you know the one where you didn't invite us to.......LOL.
I tell you what he was a bit smelly by the time Geoff got home last night from Adelaide to get him out of the cage after a 36 degree day.
RIP Billy
KarenKind Regards
Karen & Geoff
(Happy holidaying)

Do you name all you birds after something to do with camp cooking?? Billy the magpie, Camp Oven the Galah etc?? The other guys must be getting nervous. We sent you an invitation to the barbie - sent it by Carrier pidgeon as you don't have snail mail up there yet.....but the bird refused to go in case it was trapped and eaten.....
Which one of your men was smelly - Geoff or Billy??
