Hi Folks
Was looking on CarPoint last night and came across a few Toyota Tundras for sale which have been converted to Oz compliance.
They are popular here in the USA but are not available with a diesel donk.
Toyota Tundra
Nice that it has 4500 kg towing capacity which
places it just below the F250.
Retail price on these in the USA is around $55K
I have an expat Aussie friend over here who is a bricky and has had one of them for 270,000
MILES with no problems.
Regards

Well.......
They are manufactured here in the USA for the US market.
There is freight to Australia which is abt $8,000 then GST on purchase price and freight thats another $6500.
Then the unit has to be converted to RHD and meet Australian ADR compliance, new AC, new lights, new windscreen, new seatbelts, new mirrors, etc etc
Conversion costs are around $25-35,000.
That's why they want the price in Oz.

A lot of money for a vehicle that is not supported in OZ!! There would be better options for the money i would think! Michael
