Good morning everyone.
We would really like to hear any opinions,
views on these tires. We are considering putting them on our Landrover Disco. Has anyone bought them from the USA and had them shipped to Aust? or alternatively can anyone tell me where I may be able to purchase them from in the
Gold Coast area and how much one could expect to reasonably pay for 4 of them?
Thanks so much for any help advice you may offer.
Have a lovely day
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
Can't help you with where to get them on the
gold coast but can give a report on these tyres.
I have had a set of 31x10.5R15 Dick Cepek FCII's on my BT50 for several years now, they have done approx 30,000km's of a variety of tracks ranging from normal bitumen to rough rocky terrain. Areas travelled include the
Canning Stock Route,
Kimberley, Victorian High Country and
Simpson Desert just to name a few. No puntures (touch wood!) so far - one tyre replaced under warranty when it developed some sidewall bulges.
Still plenty of tread left on them.
Any Mickey Thompson dealer should be able to supply you with these tyres - they are pretty common.
Cheers, Geoff

I've got the FC 11's and they are very noisy compared to BFG A/T's which I had previously to the FC 11's.

I have them too on a 100 series and also find then noisy on a smooth roads , but in the average vehicle i don't know if you would notice that much .
also find them good tyres. at a good price but maybe know better that others , no flats . keep rotating tyres to keep noise to minimum
They are mickey thompson tyres . www.mickythompsontires.com.au for a dealer.

I have the FC 11,s also and find them a bit noisy.
However last weekend with van 2t on back managed to climb a steep wet slippery slope with little to no slipping. And you could hear the mud getting chucked up under the guards.
In short I like em and will simply turn the radio on.... then again it's a pleasant hum and I know they are working.

The other way round Coopers come out of DC's factory. But in the end they all get buggered.
