Well at last the waters are going down .....
Normanton ........ is now open...
Karumba ........ is still closed, there has been a lot of damage done and they are getting Engineering inspections done before they are able to open but is looking like it will be open by Easter.
Burketown ...... is now open
Gregory Downs .... now open
Lawn Hill/Adels Grove ....... now open, access from Gregory Downs only..
Kingfisher Camp ..... closed but "may" be open by Easter
Lawn Hill/Adels Grove to Kingfisher Camp link ......... will be closed for weeks yet so dont plan on that link for Easter.
Hells Gate to Booraloola ..... closed, will not be open in time for Easter unless we have NOT a drop of rain, possible but dont think so......

Good luck travellers, check roads BEFORE leaving as conditions can change, it is still the WET remember ....

Cheers
Joe

A little different to the Road Report in the Burke Shire Council website;

link

The road into Adels Grove and Lawn Hill is apparently not open and yet to be repaired.

please all do note............. i try to avoid using the forums as a form of road condition up-dates, only if major changes have taken place will i "post" it ......
I will constantly up-date the Road Condition site (Exploroz) when i can so always check it, you will see they all have a date of the last up-date so check it to see how "fresh" the up-date is, i will try to add detail where possible but dont want to clutter it up to much ......
Any questions feel free to PM me any time ..
Cheers
Joe
