A phone call to HR may be the go.
Would at least be from the horses mouth so to speak.

We have a Treg coupling and a HR weight distribution fitout. Got it from Hayman Reece in 1997.

That really surprises me because ours definitely came from them. They were just starting to produce them, and we kind of trialled ours for them - wrote a report for them after a year. I even think that we obtained some replacement part for ours from them in 2008 or 9.

There was a period where there was a HR weight distribution hitch with the Treg coupling as part of the receiver, but this was designed for the Treg fitting under the weight distribution arms.
When it comes to the normal fitting where the Treg is above the weight distribution arms then you need to mark and drill the holes for the Treg fitting lugs.
Mine has been done this way since 2004 with no problems on a Tare 1800 van.
Regards,
Jim
