Well done to the Shire boys for thier hard work and persistence.

Hi Bob, the Great Central road runs from Laverton through to the Olgas and Yulara via Tjukayirla, Warburton, and Warakurna (Giles weather station). Pleased to hear its open. Any idea how bad the washouts are on the Anne Beadell guys? We leave Perth on Saturday for a trip East via the ABH. Cheers, Kanga.

G'day Kanga, I spoke to the Grader drivers the other day about the Anne Beadell, and at that stage no grader had touched it. I'm sure you'll encounter a few washouts along there but unfortunately, i haven't spoken to anyone that has actually been down there recently. So can't be of much help.
Some of the sidetracks around here still have alot of water over them so take care.

Cheers
AL

Thanks Al, we'll take our time on it we don't want to break anything, I will update the road conditions on this site, hopefully once we arrive in Coober Pedy Easter Sat/Sunday. All the best to you for the busy season. Cheers, Kanga.

Al,

See you late May.
I think the outback has had it's fair share of water for a while. ;)

G'day Richard, looking forward to it mate, see you then.
The country looks bloody amazing at the moment. Was some more lightning on the horizon last night, not much to worry about though.

Hi Al,
Thanks your updates. I contacted you about a month back, and said we'd be at Tjukayirla in April. We are indeed now currently in Alice and about to come over to see you around 19 April. Hope there's no rain or issues in next couple of days ! Look forward to saying "Hello". Dave W.
