Camping on Lake Argyle Islands

I was up on
Lake argyle last year in my tinnie and thought i'd go back this year and cap overnight on an island. Anyone know if this is prohibited? I didnt see anything at the ramp saying you couldnt but interested to know if theres anyone here who knows? thanks.

Hi 80,
I was up there in Sept last year. We did the cruise on
Lake Argyle and saw two lots of campers on islands.
The boat skipper pointed them out and did not mention anything about it being a no,no.

Lots of water up there this year. You might have to share your island with some of the local wildlife.

these pics were taken from a plane chartered by the water corp when level reached record levels of over 100m
- with those levels theres not as many islands around

all boating in lake kunnunurra and
lake argyle currently banned due to high flow rates over the spillways
