I have a 2005 4x4 deisel and it leaks around the top of the tank where the fuel lines come out, any suggestions?

You could take it to a professional workshop.

The easiest solution and cheapest is to seal the leak with metal cement putty. I always carry some when travelling to fix fuel tanks, radiators, water tanks just about anything.

G'day big willy,

We had a similar situation with our lux some months back and I repaired it with one of those twin coloured rolls of sealing putty that you just slice a piece off and knead it into a consistant colour before applying.......sets within minutes; a great product.

Be aware you have to thoroughly degrease and remove any diesel residue from the area with a solvent. I had metho available and it worked a trick.

Good luck,
Sheps

thanks guys,
I think i will take it to the experts, it is hard to see exactly where it is coming from, but most likely the seal where all the fuek lines, wiring etc are attached.
