speculation track from the king hut

has anyone been on the speculation track from the
king hut to the circuit rd in the last month, just trying to find out if this track is open for the
easter weekend

Officially the tracks from Pineapple Flat to
King Hut then out to the Bindaree turnoff on the Circuit Rd via Speculation track are currently closed. I travelled them all last weekend while attending the
King Hut reconstruction working bee. The landslips & flood damage are still being repaired and are definately not suitable to 2wd's. Rangers & Vollunteers will be working this
Easter on the main build of the hut.

Thanks for the reply i heard that they were "officially" closed to stop 2wd etc but weren't be enforced for 4wds etc

The tracks are closed to everyone as the signs say but the vast majority just drive around. It's all about liability as far as I can see with the landslides still not repaired.
