After the rain comes the grass and shrub growth that will dry off as the weather gets drier. See
fire warning here.
A timely reminder to be very careful with campfires this season, especially making sure they are put out properly.
Cheers,
Val.

a very timely warning and just because it is not summer and hot does not mean that the grass will not burn.
With reports today of further floods in
Roma (South West Queensland) I have friends about 300km further west who are busy cutting their firebreaks because they have had little rain since mid December and they have copius quantities of tinder dry grass ready to go.
A strange land this is.
