For the benefit of Eric and Brad who were asking Al yesterday about recycled plastic boards/sheets to make rear storage boxes/shelves etc...here is the info...
Unimould were in Gilbertson Rd. Nth
Laverton, however, this factory has now closed, he spoke with Neville Barr from Unimould today. He told Al that a new machine is being imported in the New Year [Mar/Apr] and a new factory opening, so there is very little product available at this time, they are importing sheets from the US but these won't be available until Jan/Feb.
The original product had been used in the rear of vehicles previously by a fellow in QLD but the expansion/contraction amounts were great and caused alot of probs. The new product avail in Jan/Feb will not have this same problem, so should be worth a try in the New Year.
Unimould do not sell direct to public, so Al is getting a list of suppliers from Neville and will list them as soon as he gets them. More info to follow at a later date.
For those that don't know Unimould take recycled plastic and manufacture sheet material in different thicknesses, black or green in colour other colours can be manufactured but Al thinks that this would only be for high volume orders, it is extrememly strong and easy to clean, can be cut with a circular saw, non poreous, sizes ranging from 8 to 32mm in thickness.
hope this helps out Eric and Brad and anyone else who was interested....more info to follow as soon as Al gets it.
cheers

Thanks Lyn , thats a great help . Disupointing , but saved me a lot of leg work . Looks like the cruisers _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx will have to wait till next year.

Hi Eric
as soon as Al get some word from Neville we'll let you know...Neville is aware that there is an interest, and I imagine he and Al will be in contact again soon.
