How to remove mold and not harm waterproofing on canvas tent.

I have a camper trailer and the canvas has mold on the roof and on some of the side panels.
I want to clean it off but i am a little worried i will remove the waterproofing. I have heard that salt water works but will this damage the waterproofing.

I would say that if you have mould in the canvas it won't be long before you have a hole.

Spray the affected area with a 90% white vinegar 10% water mix.
