Gday
I was sitting in my old Nissan on Monday morning in mosquito ally (
Loch Sport) with my 2 1/2 year old grand daughter and checking the distance for the trip back
home . Millie asked me if she could play kids games on the navman. So my question is , can they be programmed to play games ?

As the grand father of 5 ranging from 3 to 9 years old, I, when faced with a problem involving todays technology, generally ask one of them.....I kid you not..lol. My 4 year old grand daughter brought the house down at a family do by proudly displaying her familiarity with the operation of the photo function on one of these new fangled I-Phones. She had a shot of her mum stepping out of the shower in her birthday suit.

Garmin has the option on their site to download games. unfortunitly mines not capable. Look at the Navman site. They might offer something.
Optometrist told me the other week when I got my sons eyes tested, that since small held hand games have become popular, more kids are now needing to wear glasses, from a younger age. Are we breeding a blind future?

Navmans can be unlocked depending on the model as can almost all of the cheap Chinese GPS's. Then they can be made to run all sorts of things. It's just Windows CE underneath so if it's available for CE then generally it can run it. You do need to be a bit of a hacker to set them up though. I use a Navman S50 to run ozi-explorer.... A DIY Hema Navigator if you like. I started a very popular thread over on Pajero Club that has now been copied and quoted to many other forums.

Hi Muzbry.
My son unlocked my Navman S80 a few years ago after reading Pat's thread.
It works
well, can play games but it can't fly the pajero yet .
Cheers.
