Hey, I have a Subaru Forester (2010 model) and I was wondering if the Bridgestone AT 694 is suitable for this as I plan to do regular off road trips?

Hi Raymond,

The D694 is a very good tyre especially in the LT version as I have on my cruiser.

Whether the LTs would be suitable for your type of vehicle I am not sure.
Non the less they are a good tyre with good road holding, low highway noise and good wear parameters. I can recommend them.

Hope this helps.
Cheers, Bruce

Yes The 694 is a great tyre. I have just the normal ats on my Jack which would be all you would need on a Subie. Quite on the road and I was surprised how good they are in mud even.

Had these on my 2005 forester and thought they were a good highway tyre but also thought they were too heavy a tyre for it off road. What I mean is that the Forester being a light vehicle doesn't allow the tyres to bag out enough when the pressures are dropped for dirt work so the ride was a bit harsh.
I had run Toyo Opat HT and thought they were a much better ride on all surfaces, granted not mud. Hope that helps
