Jayco Freedom Outback 2004

Hi everyone,
We have decided to move away from the camper trailer and move up to our very first caravan. Has anyone any dealings with the Jayco freedom Outback range of vans, we are seriously looking at a 2004 model in very good condition. Any feedback would be greatly received and appreciated.

Hi Bundy Buddies,
We have owned to Jayco outback pop tops and cannot complain about either of them. They are good value for money. Just tow them with respect. We have sold both ours for the price we bought them for after a couple of years if not a few dollars more. Hope you have a great time.

Hi Barb, Just checked your profile love the Iluka/Yamba area, you stated about towing them with respect, could explain a little if possible, I will be towing with a triton 4WD with a 3.2 Litre turbo diesel.

Hi Bundy Buddies,
What I was refering to was just be sensible if it is a rough road take it at an appropriate speed, if it is a steep gully do it slowly etc.
If you are interested here are a few tips you can read them and then ignore if you like. Make covers for your seat out of t shirt ribbing sew one end and slide on like a pillowcase and put ties or other fastener on the other end, they keep firm when sitting on them, you then don't have to worry if you are dirty or anyone else for that matter. When needed just take off and throw them in the washing machine. Then when it is time to sell you have seats that look like brand new, always has impressed the buyers of our previous vans. Also for resale value take the matching doona cover, bedspread off and put it away until sale time.
Buy an eggshell matress overlay makes the bed so much more comfortable, we also put a carpet runner down the centre of the vans same one for 4 vans just keeps your feet warmer and if it gets dirty take it outside and hose it.
Hope this helps
