Can you get a tray or some thing like it to fit jerry cans in? On your recent trip diesel dripped down the side of them now it is every where in storage box plus that lovely aroma.
If not I will probably make one. Will need to take three jerry's.

You need to fit new gaskets to the jerries.

I agree with the above, the Jerry cans should not have leaked in the first place. If they are the metal ones, fit new seals to the cap, they're available at most auto/camping shops.
On my last trip I carried diesel in metal Jerry cans in the campers tool box sitting on they're sides, no spillage problems at all.

Hi , they are plastic containers no seals on pouring spout just a taper seal, which did not work to
well so would leak down the side causing the problem .No matter how
well you wiped it off after.
Will try making a sheet metal tray, if no good will try to find some good second hand metal ones.

I use those rectangular recycling tubs that everyone had before the Otto
bins. I picked up quite a few from friends in
SYdney when the change over happened .
I can fit 3 plastic jerry cans in nice and snug in them. Used them for a while in the back of the ute and they work
well.
