Hi ,im after some info on nm remote coding, after owning my nm pajero for about 6 months the remotes stopped working (all 3 of them ) i have had the batteries checked and their fine i have cleaned the inside of them also ,but still nothing so now im stuck :-( i have read a few forums on different ways to code new remotes "would this work for the old ones too ?" also to do this some say the module is in the drivers side rear cargo panel ,some say its under the dash ????????
Can someone Please shed some light on this dilemma for me

The control unit (BCM) is actually under the dash, behind the heater controls roughly. But there is no need to know where it is.
From memory you turn the ignition key on, press the hazzard button 5 times fast or similar and then it should go into remote learning mode. Press the unlock on each of the remotes and it should signal that it has learnt them. I haven't got the procedure in front of me but if you google search you will find it. Or look in the owners manual.

Hi Mal ,thanks i have tried to do the coding but it didnt work ,now i am wondering if there are any other reasons why it wouldn't ? a couple of the members from the pajero
forum have been helping me but i haven't had any success as yet.
Any ideas will be appreciated ?
