Depends what time in September. There is this CHOGM meeting that has taken all the accommodation we are told. They are even chasing people out of Supreme Court Garden and similar
places.
The city will be closed to the public for a number of days.
All sounds like fun and a good time to be somewhere else in WA.
It will be good just north and east of
Perth that time of the year, if it ever rains.

We are headed up to
Shark Bay and
Coral Bay when CHOGM is here, good time to get out of town LOL.
Sept should be OK though. CHOGM is on in Oct.
Cheers

Gidday
Don't be put off by Chogm , it isnt until late October, not September, so Supreme Court gardens should be Ok if you want to doss down with the homeless.
Cheers

Weld Square could be an option if overflow develops in
the Gardens.
Cheers.

Hi Steve
For central city, The Good Earth Hotel in
Adelaide Terrace is no frills but quite satisfactory. Has self catering apartment style rooms as
well as basic hotel rooms. Secure
parking underneath but they cannot guarantee a place (we have had no problems but tight for a big FWD). Across the road is the Ambassador, similar price range and i think same ownership. I don't know if they have the self catering rooms.
Parking usually available behind the Hotel. I was looking up the websites but that with ExplorOz was all too much for my computer.

G'day Stevo_ 62, there is a near new high speed train which travells 70klms south of the
Perth CBD to Mandurah, a seaside resort and residential city in about 50 minutes. An option for you should the
Perth city be unattractive.

Karrinyup waters resort, we stayed there while resanding our timber flooring, nice and reasonably priced, that was a couple of years ago though. North of the city but not far.
