Gooday Pat : We had king springs on our 80 , only changed springs 50mm lift the best thing i did to it.

They have a good name I think ,the parts store here sell them regulary & well priced . I had a good look around before I got them , witch reminds me to have a look for kings for a triton 2006 !!!
As you say so many out there .

cheers nick

Pat
King springs make springs for a lot of aftermarket 4wd accessories places such as TJM and ARB.
I beleive that Ironman is made in China.

I bought my springs and shocks from Terrain tamer, at the time they where cheaper than most others by a long shot.
When first installed my cruiser sat about 4 inchs higher and looked like a monster truck, not the 50 - 70mm I wanted, just about undriveable because it put the steering geometry way out. I was told to try and put up with it for 2-3000 kms before spending big money on castor corrections.
It came good fairly quickly once the springs settled, ended up not spending a cent on wheel alignments,
They took some time to settle but are good now, just a little bit firm when empty.
I'm told that kings springs are who make terrain tamers coils I don't know if true or not.
King springs do have a good name in street car circles

Be careful with the whole lift thing.
Remember you still want height when loaded.
Too many people wack in 4 inch springs and when loaded for their yearly trip the lift comes back down to standard again.
Spring progression and spring thickness.
