Hullo All,
Sometime ago I purchased a Safari Dtronic - SD16 unit for our 2003 3Ltr Nissan and just wondering what the advantages would be if I fit it. Been a long time since I have seen any comments on them on this site. Your experience with them will help. No other Mods done to this vehicle.
Cheers P&J

There's a lot of info on 3lts and how to help make them not go Bang.
Cheers Dave.

P&J,
if you're going to fit it, make sure you fit a bigger exhaust and an EGT gauge. They are a must in preventing you melting the ZD1 motors.
Cheers Mick

Go to the Patrol
forum for your answers.
They will tell you the good and the bad about what you are wanting to do.
The chip and the exhaust will give a bit more bang for your buck.
How much depends on the vehicle but in my 100ser was about 20% improvement in HP.
Whether you want to stress a ZD30 any more is up to you but whatever you decide the advice you have been given here is correct even if it didnt say what the plusses ( if any) are.
