Ahhh Come on Bruce, harden up, there only little critters.

They don't eat much and they love to snuggle up at night. Just remember to sleep with you mouth closed.

Cheers Teza

Wrong! Pussys are not afraid of mice.

The guy sleeping at Henbury said ground was " seething "with mice.
Cant imagine that being much of a fun trip.

Gday
Toughen up Mary.

I have a mouse in my workshop and he/she only eats the most expensive product that I keep on the shelf .

Gee Muzbry , 1 mouse is ok but if you read the thread it sounded more like 1000.
Niece down south is killing over 400 a night .

We had a mice plague in the eastern goldfields a few years ago. The cats and dogs were so full of them that they finished up just looking at them. Then all the mice just disapeared as quickly as they came. Just get a pied piper LOL

I remember a mouse plague about 20 years ago and the Hume Hwy near Yass looking like a moving grey velvet carpet. I crested a hill and couldn't help but hit thousands of them...unbelievable really. Camping in the way of that would have been like a horror movie. Mike

Your probably thinking of 1974 when there was a flood and a mice plague.

The flood waters drove the mice onto the roads. It was like driving on a carpet.

I drove through Wagga Wagga and on to Hay. I have never experienced that type of event since.

Geez, you're a mob of BIG GIRLS! I just got back from Birdsville and they aren't even mice! They are LONG HAIRED RATS. Cute things too - seriously quite nice.Check them out on google.
Our poor old Labrador just about wore himself out trying to catch them. Our cat, meanwhile, though discretion the better part of valour and sat upstairs so he could yowl at them as they went past.
Further up north a friend's two biggest cats were catching 4 of them a night - oh shouldn't have said that as technically the Long Haired Rat is protected, I believe.

Clearly, Ruth D., something has to change, because some forum members seem to need protection from the rats ... and the mice.
