Hello

I have a fairley new prado 150 GXL and there is an annoying rattle/tapping in the rear I am pretty sure it is coming from the rear swing door as when I open and shut it the rattle goes away for a few km then it comes back

Has anyone else had an issue like this? If so how have you fixed

I hate rattles or any noise in my car

Thank you for helping me keep sain

Hi Brent

It could be a loose part in the tool kit or the spare wheel assembly.

You need to eliminate things one by one until you find it.

Had the same . The mechanic at service did something with both ball type ends on the telescopic lock, that locks the back door open, as thats where the rattle SEEMED to come from. Is better but the number plate rattles too so put some adhesive felt behind that. Also there had been a a loose cover (plastic type ,black) to the rear & above the passenger side rear wheel that flapped a bit.Husband doesnt't hear any of this but drives me mad!!!!.It's pretty good now & we have all gravel roads.
