I own a fantastic 2005 trakshak which faithfully followed us on a 10 month trip up through the centre and down the west coast and a 3 month trip up the east coast to Cape York.
I am about to put her up for sale but I need to get a couple of repairs done first. I don't have the tools or space to do this myself so I am looking for some help to find decent repairers in Melbourne (north or west is preferable)

I noticed on our last trip that there is a bit of mould starting on the ceiling, anyone know places that will fix this?

I would also like to get the stone chips on the front of the trailer repaired.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you contacted a Trak-shak dealer in Melbourne or the manufacturer direct? I'd reckon they'd be the best places to start as far as a recommendation for a repairer is concerned.

Cheers Mick

with the mould try using oil of clove diluted with warm water. The stone chips can be fixed by a panel beater.

G'day Zjed,
Just a slight early interest, where will you be advertising it for sale?
Cheers

Not sure yet, maybe here. It'll probably take me a month or more to get these repairs done. If you're interested in buying as is, I'll knock 2k off the price. PM me if you're interested and I can give you some details.

G'day Zjed,
I'm interested, but to be completely honest, I'm negotiating my way through a kitchen upgrade to the house currently, so I think I'm about to run short of cash!!
Please email me any photos and other information you have, but feel free to advertise it elsewhere as I don't wish to get your hopes up for a quick sale if some builder increases the price of screws or drawer knobs or some other thing!
