Thanks all....yes all makes sense as we thought and as per manual etc...the 100L in total we have put in was just a guesstimate but it would be more than but not a completely full
tank...No we would never usually put 2 x 50L lots of fuel it was just the way things worked out when we collected the car and then visited a fuel station ourselves shortly after leaving toyota....
Anyhow the fuel gauge hitting and staying on full for quite some kms while the 90L is still on is what was confusing for us...obviously there was more than 90L in the
tank and the car was full on the gauge yet the 90L light was still showing....anyhow will do the complete fill up the
tank and see if the light goes out...
Jarse - thanks for your comments - we were told exactly this from Toyota at the time of purchase - the main
tank and sub
tank is no longer with the model we purchased - YOU dont phyically switch anything over on the model we now own - it just draws from the one big
tank per se....just fill up the
tank and both tanks fill up evenly and draw evenly or so is our understanding - anyhow the light issue should be fixed if we fill it up as per all your valuable posts.
Thanks again all - much appreciated...
