Hello

We have been now six times on holidays in Australia with a Britz Campervan Bush Camper. We are tired of this rental company with no services.
Next year we would like to visit Australia again and I would like to hire an offroad camper trailer and an offroad 4WD car from Adelaide to Perth one way (end of February 2012 - Mid of April 2012). Does anyone know who / which company will rent a camper trailer (a Saturn S1 would be fine) including a 4WD vehicle (Landcruiser would be fine).

Depending on what type of camper trailer you are looking for. Try
Dreamtime Campers: Unit 11, 28 Pendelbury Rd, Cardiff, Newcastle, NSW (02) 4954 7949 ... I have dealt with them and they are very good. Try the TVan. Mine was very comfortable. No wet bed to climb into. You will need electric brakes though.

Be wary of the insurance when hiring a 4wd. The insurance on many hire cars is only valid when travelling on sealed roads. You have no insurance on unsealed roads.

Thanks for the informations. It is great to know the rental conditions. It is always difficult to make deals in a far away country. But we will try it and will have a good look at the insurance documents.
