I am wondering if anyone else has this problem with their Waeco. It resets itself to +21C often, but not always, when the power source is changed from 240V to 12V. It also sets the temperature back to +21C when turned off for a few days. It has been back to a service agent twice for this problem but they have not fixed it although some parts have been changed. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds like a problem with the EEPROM On the main board this chip stores last settings in its memory. Has this board been replaced.

Some parts were replaced but I am not sure which ones. I'll ask when I take it back. But it seems like this is a known problem?

Kevin,
If I was you I wouldn't bother. The "problem"only occurs with a very specific manual change. You know this happens when switching over or turning on. Wouldn't you
check the temp anyway when doing this?
At least it is not doing so during normal operation

I paid for a refrigerator that works all the time and that's what I intend to get. Since there has not been much response to my question I assume that it is not a common problem so they should be able to fix it.
