Can someone tell me what sort of snake this is please? the little fella is camped in our Cabin at Cape Leveque

Yes , its an olive python - very young one - maybe 1 - 2 years old - looks ready to also shed its skin ( slough ) I had one of these years ago -

for captive bred olives you would be looking at $400 for a baby - and up to $1000 for a decent adult ( with licences )

Forgot to add , there harmless - apart from maybe wanting to strike at you / bite you.

yes definitly about to shed with those opaque eyes

pic is a bit hard to positivly identify but definitly a python and very probablly (like said) an olive

I just see a bit of paterning maybe so wouldnt rule out a stimpson
